NEW YORK, New York, January 29, 2008 – TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately-owned provider of language and business services, today announced the opening of a new office in Berlin, Germany, in a step that highlights the city's growing demand for international communication services. The new TransPerfect office will enable the company to better serve existing clients throughout Europe, while also providing local service to customers in the German capital. The decision to open TransPerfect’s third client service facility in Germany was driven by the proliferation of global corporations in the Berlin-Brandenburg area, as well as the continued growth of the city's hi-tech industry.
