The core of this solution was the adoption of the GlobalLink Enterprise platform, which allowed for a hub and spoke model of request management. All translation requests from various regions now feed into one central location. To address security concerns and specific vendor needs, Translations.com provided customized access to the platform, allowing some vendors to have their own separate instances of GlobalLink Enterprise with visibility limited to their relevant projects.

The Results

The centralization of the translation management system through GlobalLink Enterprise yielded significant improvements for Zebra Technologies. The transition from email-based workflows to a platform-based system dramatically enhanced communication efficiency and project management. Though initially hesitant, vendors quickly recognized the value of being on the platform, which led to improved collaboration.
