KIOXIA Ramps Up Global Content Strategy

Japanese multinational computer memory manufacturer, KIOXIA, had a formidable task in creating and managing multilingual content for its global operations. The company's existing translation process was disconnected from its content management system (CMS) workflow, resulting in inefficiencies and delays. Additionally, since previously translated content could not be easily referenced, there was unnecessary repetition of work. KIOXIA needed a solution that could handle large volumes of content across 18 languages with the ability to rapidly translate and deploy this content to support its expanding global market presence.

TransPerfect implemented GlobalLink Connect, integrating it directly into KIOXIA's CMS workflow to automate the translation process. This solution combined translation memory technology with a machine translation API, allowing KIOXIA to leverage previously translated content and automate new translations. The translation memory feature ensured consistency and reduced costs by reusing existing translations, while the machine translation API provided rapid initial translations for new content.

TransPerfect's global support structure enabled a swift four-month deployment, allowing KIOXIA to quickly benefit from the improved translation workflow.
