Achieving Multinational Targets with GlobalLink Connect

KIOXIA is a Japanese multinational computer memory manufacturer. Using TransPerfect’s GlobalLink Connect and machine translation API, KIOXIA was able to boost translation efficiency and turnaround time.

When KIOXIA wanted to rapidly improve translation processes and they turned to TransPerfect for help.

With this goal in mind, TransPerfect identified a key integration solution that could fit into KIOXIA’s CMS workflow to improve their content in 18 languages. TransPerfect was able to go live with this solution in four months. GlobalLink’s translation memory and machine translation allowed KIOXIA to leverage previous translations, further reduced the turnaround time. KIOXIA translated nearly 1,000,000 words, in 18 languages, from 4,000 files in a single calendar month and this was all done with GlobalLink’s in-house translation memory and machine translation. This would have been impossible to handle this volume with human translation and the traditional manual process.
