The Challenge

Houzz is going places. They recently opened offices in Berlin, London, and Sydney. From these outposts, this amazing seven-year-old online home remodeling and design community platform is serving Western Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The next logical step was language localization into German, Spanish for Spain, French, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Chinese, and Russian with other European and Asian languages to follow.

Aside from website localization, Houzz required production of a series of broadcast spots for several European countries. And they needed these spots to have a 100% local feel in each market.


The Solution

TransPerfect Studios’ casting call rendered the right voices for the ads, our copywriters created compelling script adaptations for each market, and our video designers added the motion graphics in-language for the phone screens. All the spots were recorded at our studios in Los Angeles with bilingual directors to ensure the best possible delivery. Watch the results for yourself in one of the spots that aired in Germany.
