Role: Functional & Localization Quality Assurance tester
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing video games of all genres in several platforms to find functionality and localization issues impacting the overall gaming user experience
• Accurately following test plans as laid out by team leads and performing ad-hoc testing on initiative where applicable
• Reporting issues found in internal and/or external databases
• Verifying if previously reported project issues have been repaired or updated (regression testing)
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the Project Management team/supervisor

YOUR PROFILE

Ideal candidates will have:

• Fluency in functionality standards within the video games industry 
• Excellent spelling and grammar in own native language.
• Familiarity with a wide range of consoles and mobile hardware, including current-gen consoles, mobile and PC configurations
• Strong computer skills and experience working within MS Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel)
• Passion for and knowledge of games
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a lateral thinking capacity to readily offer clients innovative solutions
• A strong proficiency in the English language (written and spoken)
