TransPerfect’s New Signage Beams over Pune’s Tech Hub
India’s thriving technology and innovation hub just got a little brighter—literally. New signage at TransPerfect’s Westend Icon office in Pune is now shining high above Aundh, one of the city’s most sought-after commercial and residential hubs.
To some, it may be just another company name on a building in the fast–developing Aundh neighborhood. To us, it marks how much we’ve grown—and how strongly we’re rooted here.
When TransPerfect opened the Pune office in 2005, we hardly imagined that one day we’d have our name on a building like this, alongside global powers like Deloitte. Years of growth, a strong culture, and a spirit of camaraderie brought us here, and we’re proud to see our name in lights. Today, the Pune office is home to more than 600 team members working across diverse functions, from AI training and technology development to media production and localization.
When they’re not in the office, employees can be found engaging in a variety of social and environmental initiatives. This could mean planting trees through Hamari Vasudhara (“our earth”) or empowering underprivileged adults with employment skills through Saksham (which means “capable” or “competent”).
Pune: The Silicon Valley of Maharashtra
Located in the Western Indian state of Maharashtra, Pune has rightfully earned its reputation as the region’s Silicon Valley. With world-class universities, a booming tech economy, and a rich pool of multilingual talent, it’s a natural fit for TransPerfect’s global strategy.
Our teams here not only serve international clients but also collaborate with some of India’s most iconic brands, films, and TV series—bringing stories and services to life in over 200 languages.
The Pune office also houses a state-of-the-art audio production studio, opened in 2024 to support our growing media and entertainment work in the region. The team serves a broad spectrum of industries, including life sciences, financial services, e-commerce, and entertainment, helping organizations meet local and global demands.
Celebrating TransPerfect’s Expanding Impact in India
TransPerfect’s presence in India continues to expand, with additional offices in Chennai and Delhi—our regional hub and document review center for TransPerfect Legal. Recently, TransPerfect acquired Bangalore-based Paybooks Technologies, a leading provider of HR, payroll, and compliance solutions. Together, these locations strengthen our 24/7 operational capabilities and help us deliver high-volume, high-quality services more efficiently across time zones.
