HR Payroll Manager - New York

Description

  • Processes weekly payroll, reports, reconciliations, payroll taxes, year-end procedures and W-2s for multi-state and international payroll
  • Completes all time and attendance, payroll reports and benefit administrative functions including: garnishments, direct deposit, 401K loans, VOEs and unemployment inquiries
  • Ensures legal compliance in completing all paperwork, including EEO reporting
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration.
  • Understands issues regarding FMLA, ADA, LOA and Workers Compensation as it relates to payroll.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll.
  • Processes all weekly, special compensation, commission, and bonus checks with the highest standard of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintains, analyzes and implements the Companys 401K Plan as it relates to the payroll system.
  • Counsel and resolve employee payroll issues
  • Work with HR to improve/create processes on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of HRIS, ADP HRIS a plus
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree
  • Minimum 7 years related experience
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel
  • Experience with ADP, PayExpert, EzLabor a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters courteously and efficiently
  • Excellent communications and customer services skills
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • MS Office
