Account Manager - Geneva
Description:
- Research prospective clients through several strategies – most importantly through the use of the internet, but also through trade show lists, referrals, yellow pages, various professional directories, and personal investigation.
- Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients.
- Attend Trade Shows, Conferences, Events, and Functions relating to the industry in order to develop contacts and leads. Utilise social skills and standing to best represent TransPerfect Translations in order to make a positive impression on prospective clients.
- Creatively problem-solve to improve current New Business Development strategy. Assist Directors of Business Development in day-to-day tasks, ranging from answering telephone calls, developing warm leads, marketing.
- Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including how TransPerfect charges, justification for turnaround time, and competitors’ information.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 year degree or related business experience
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective time management
- Customer support and sales experience
